Established in 2001, Jiangsu Kangtai Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd., a member of Jiangsu Kangtai Chemical Group, is located in Jintan City, a famous city in Jiangsu Province and an area along the low and middle reaches of Yangtze River. With a social mission of “purifying the environment and protecting the earth”, the company, together with the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry , Chinese Academy of Science, has developed HFC-134a, a new environment-friendly refrigerant. Based on own design, the company has set up China's first ten-thousand-tonnage manufacturing installation for environment-friendly refrigerants, which claims many national patents.
